Power of Attorney (POA) enables the applicant living abroad to appoint a person or organization from abroad to manage his/her property or affairs in Bangladesh. Power of Attorney is processed in accordance with the ‘The Power of Attorney Act-2015.

How can I withdraw power of attorney in Bangladesh?
A power giver can revoke Power of Attorney by notifying the power receiver with 30 days’ registered notice. In the same way, a power receiver can renounce his responsibility by notifying the power giver with 30 days’ of registered notice.

What is Power of Attorney in Dhaka Bangladesh?
A valid power of attorney in Bangladesh must be in writing, signed by the principal, and witnessed by at least two people. It must also clearly specify the scope of authority granted to the appointed representative.
